Our hooded garment's style and form can be traced back to Medieval Europe when monks clothing included a hood attached to robes. A bit more recently (1930’s) knickerbocker added hoods to the function of their sweatshirts for university sports team. The athletic hoodie is a classic, not ye oldebut a classic, one needed for every wardrobe.
